The centrepiece of FZY's Year Course Programme is Year Course Classic, a post secondary school gap year programme that immerses participants in Israeli society, blending community volunteering, Jerusalem studies, an Israel experience, touring, hiking and fun.

Currently in its second year, Shevet is our Judaic exploration track giving participants the opportunity to learn about and experiment with the traditions of Modern Orthodox Judaism. Through special events, classes, guest speakers, and field trips, you will be exposed to this modern Jewish lifestyle, and will have the opportunity to ask questions of your own to our knowledgeable educational staff. Various levels of current Jewish observance accepted.

The rich history of Israel is deeply influenced by other Jewish communities worldwide, whose connection to Israel spans past, present and future. Year Course Olami explores these connections with a series of week-long journeys outside of Israel to countries around the globe - from the cobblestone streets of Europe to the villages of Africa - to discover how they shaped the creation of Israel, and how Israel continues to shape them today.
